Garbage Pullouts

Have a broken or malfunctioning garbage pullout?

One of the most used pullouts in kitchens and utility rooms is the combined garbage and recycling unit on slide with removable bins. With such regular usage, even well-made units can start to wear after 5-10 years.

Commonly, we see the frames bent/twisted from overloading (or “packing down” the refuse while the bins are in and the pullout is extended), bearings dropping from the slides, and soft close/hold in mechanisms broken.

Although some models have replaceable parts, securing these parts from the manufacturers today often requires “knowing who to call”. We provide various options and timelines for you with our quote.

CabinetFix repairs and installs several good options, including Blum, Grass, Hailo, Rev-A-Shelf, Salice, Ninka, Vauth Sagel and Kesseböhmer.

Added a Blum Merivobox undersink pullout for easy access to refuse, recycling and cleaning supplies. We also installed wide angle hinges from Blum to enhance accessibility.

Converted an old Hailo 4 bin unit to Blum Merivobox. Customer kept the bins and since the Merivobox is so smooth, they do not tip when opened or closed.
